I heart ART!!!

If you don't know who Dale Chihuly is....you should. He is a living glass artist. We saw the most incredible exhibition this morning and while I loved his art before, I am blown away now. (This is a funny pun if you're paying attention :) ).





Dave looking up: this room had a glass ceiling and was lit from above, so the colors in here were so beautiful.



After that we went to see the Frida Kahlo exhibit at the MOMA. While they didn't allow pics in the exhibit, we were able to take a picture of this Matisse painting. She is highly important in the world of modern art. It was the beginning of Fauvism- whilch means Wild Beasts. It was in relation to the crazy colors. I love her.



Can you tell how estatic we were about today? Sigh. We love art.
