My good friend Melanie won the big race! At the beginning of the school year (she's a fellow teacher) she shared a big secret with me: she was pregnant and due March 29th. I could hardly bite my tounge- because I was keeping a secret, too- that I was due on March 30th! Eventually I shared and since then we've been swapping stories about sleeping trends, maternity clothes, and baby bargains.
Melanie became a mommy three weeks sooner than she expected. While I have missed having a pregnant buddy to go through these last few weeks with, I am so thrilled for her. Just look at this beautiful little boy!
Congratulations!! Our little boys will be playing together very soon!
