Birthday Festivities

We made it! We've had Will in our lives for a whole year now. It has been some of the longest days of our lives, but the fastest twelve months ever. We celebrated his actual birthday with a dinner out with all of the grandparents and Uncle Steven.



Dave and I tag teamed to make the birthday cakes. Dave was a fantastic Bernini (sculptor) while I took the Picasso end of it (decorating).






We held the party up at Dave's office which always seems to work out and hold everyone really well. A few decorations made it a little more festive:





We were celebrating for OUR sake, too. We deserve a little fun, too!

We had practiced blowing out candles, although he didn't feel like performing his trick for his guests.



Will has a little phobia about touching messy foods, so we gave him a spoon and he was all systems go!



Mmm!!

Dave and I feel so honored to be parents to this amazing little guy. Our lives have been turned upside down, and we wouldn't have it any other way!! Happy Birthday, Will!!
