Playground
I think I have mentioned that the school I teach at is at the end of our street. Let me tell you, my heat doesn't even kick on between my garage and school parking lot. It's awesome. But I don't know if I've mentioned on the back side of my school is an elementary school, which means we have a great playground just two minutes from our house. The other afternoon we all 3 went there to play and I brought my camera along. The boys started off with some kite-flying.
Then we went to the playground equipment. This is usually a Daddy-Will activity so I got to watch and laugh as the two of them ran around. I swear it was like watching the synchronized playground Olympics. They have a routine and things they do and say at each station. Such fun to witness!
I'm surprised more pictures don't turn out like this:
My FAVORITE part of watching them is when they come down the "bumpy slide." When they get to the bottom they touch fingers. Sometimes they shock each other and sometimes they don't. (Seriously, I'm not sure I'll ever understand boys!) But anyway, look at the 2 different faces- one WITH the static electricity and one WITHOUT.
I am so thankful for these two boys and that they have their own little games and routines. Will is so lucky to have such a fun-loving, caring father who truly loves spending time with him. XOXO
