There is nothing sweeter than seeing my children interact. I feel like my heart could burst when I see these two laugh at each other. I don't know what we did right in prepping Will to be a big brother but he has loved his baby sister since day 1.
Will is always looking out for Elliette ("why is she crying? Is she ok? No, Mom don't put her there, she could fall!) *please note I'm not putting her anywhere dangerous- he is just still worried about her abilities to sit on her own. Will also LOVES to pose for pictures with Elliette. Hmm.. Lucky me!
Notice who's doing the hugging here:

Oh I'm sure we have a few arguments ahead of us, but since we started off on such a good foot I feel like there is the potential we will return there. I love my own brother fiercely and just knowing that Will and Elliette will someday have each other as Steven and I do makes watching this growing bond even more special.
Entertaining Elliette with a puppet show :)
I love this last picture. I'm pretty sure little sister lives big brother just as much.
Last night Elle was already asleep and I was showering. Baby girl woke up and started fussing. Well, showers to me are about as sacred as church so I was pretending I didn't hear her and hoping she would go back to sleep on her own. Well what do you know Will heard her and went in there. "Elle Belle..." He sings so sweetly. "Elle Belle it's ok. Elle Belle Mom's in the shower. She'll be here in a minute. Elle Belle, you're so pretty, it's ok." Oh my. He is just the sweetest.
Brother and sister,
together as friends,
ready to face
whatever life sends.
Joy and laughter
or tears and strife,
holding hands tightly
as we dance through life.
