Pre-K Graduation
I am so behind in posting this- this was May 30 and Will's school had the nicest graduation celebration! The parents were set up in camp chairs in the parking lot and there were risers and decoration on the front of the building.
As they played the traditional graduation march the kids came around the corner and had their little caps and tassels on. I could see Will say to the kid next to him that "I can't see my mom." Here is his precious face when he saw me. Love.
After they came in they said the pledge and the director spoke and gave a super sweet speech that may or may not have made this momma shed a tear. After that the kids sung about 8 songs. While Will participated vocally and knew every word, he did not do any hand motions which you will see in the pictures. We didn't care, though. Watching that sweet boy sing about made my heart burst.
I was so lucky to have the two most handsome boys there!
Afterwards there was a lunch reception on the playground. This wall had a picture of each kid in a safari hat and they asked them what they're looking forward to most on their "Kindergarten Adventure."
The food was delicious and the decor was super cute.
Gigi, Meme, and Poppy were all there to watch our little graduate.
Proud Mom & Dad:
These were his FANTASTIC teachers Ms. Amy and Ms. Donna. Will adored these two and they did a great job with their pre-K prep. Will is already talking about how much he misses them.
Oh these two.
Owen and Will have been pretty inseperable since birth.
I can't hardly believe these sweet boys are ready to go to Kindergarten. They will be going to different buildings which absolutely breaks my heart. I don't know what these two are going to do without each other.
We are going to have to be sure to have a play date on the calendar at all times! So proud of these big boys!!!
