Brett's Birthday Bash

We are so lucky to have so many wonderful friends with children. Brett and Will were born 3 weeks apart (although they were due a day apart!) so we were invited to Gymboree to help celebrate his 2nd birthday. We had never been there and it was so much fun to let the kids just run and be crazy!



I'm still sometimes in shock that my friends and I are old enough to have kids. I mean, really. We have little people. Who look like us. Check out little Brian, little John, and the other little Brian (that's two different Brians, by the way. Our friends aren't THAT close ;) )



Will was not too excited at first. He HATES to take his shoes off.



But he eventually warmed up. The lure of the climbing toys was just too much :)




Audrie was amazing. The running and climbing skills of a three year old are so impressive. Next year we won't have to follow Will around. This girl was on the MOVE.



How weird is it to see Baby Anne walking? She and her sister share some impressive mobile DNA. This girl is walking at nine months old!




Kayla Grace was just as cute as could be and was having SO much fun.

And Will? Well, he was definitely proving that his DNA is ALL BOY.







Will buddied up with Owen quite a bit (I guess 40 hours a week at day care isn't enough!)





Rachel (always the music teacher) helped Audrie to sing and clap out a birthday song.



Is there anything kids love more than bubbles?




They seemed to really enjoy the parachute, too. I myself enjoyed the cool photo-ops.




Cake time! Mel impressed with her cake-making skills again!
