Celebrating 50

50 years. Dave's parents celebrated their 50th anniversary last week. I can only pray that Dave and I get to celebrate our 50th. We celebrated in style at a lovely condo in Branson. Paul and Glenda got there a day before us and we joined them for the long holiday weekend.

The condo was beautiful, and the view wasn't too shabby, either!

My sweet baby learned how to swim!! Wrestling him into the floatie was not easy, nor was getting him into the pool, but once he figured out what he could do there was no stopping him! He would go from one end of the pool to the other and say to us "no touch!" Sorry about the way too many pictures- it was exciting!

The boys did play some games, too!

My handsome monkey:

Saturday morning we took a bot out for a few hours. This was really a highlight for us all! We cruised around for a while and got out and swam a few times. The water was a pretty good temperature and we were out early before there was too much lake traffic.

The view of our condo from the pool. We had the condo on the floor above the pool. Despite the crowd that is pictured here, it really was empty 90% of the time.

We did a little shopping on Sunday but then camped out back at the condo and did some sparklers as it got dark. We started on the beach but then moved to our deck.

I have some adorable videos from the lake swim to post that I'll try to get to in the morning.

Here is a photo of my in-laws I took for their newspaper announcement:

Congratulations on 50 wonderful years and thank you for sharing your special weekend with us!
