My turn!

2 weeks ago I got together with some local art teachers and learned how to do traditional bookmaking. This was a project with a lot of "love" moments and a few, um, "dislike" moments as well. It was two days of hard, hard work... but I LOVE the results! I'm so proud!

The covers were made with found objects, painted with liquid graphite and then buffed. The pages were measured and torn, then bound in sections. Finally, they were bound all together, and then to the cover. I finished two books- enjoy!
