Burris Christmas 2012

We spent the day of the 24th with Dave's parents and grandmother to celebrate Christmas. We had a big lunch not long after we got there and we had to convince great grandma MeMe to put Elliette down : )
After lunch we got down to some serious Christmas business. Cute little story on our first present of the day; Will was obviously excited at the mound of presents awaiting him. He eagerly picked one out and went to Poppy to have help opening it. When the paper was off hr saw that it was a box of cards to play Go Fish. Well... to a three year old a deck of cards is not terribly exciting. Especially for a first present. Well that little boy's chin went to his chest and his brow furrowed and he took the cards and chucked them over his shoulder and "grrr-ed!" Oh my! We have to work on some present etiquette! But we all were stifiling the laughter and I have a feeling that will be a story to recount for many years : )He did get many things that made him happy, of course including a puzzle/ car track:
A book of short stories about his favorite superheroes:
And his first set of golf clubs! No plastic bats for this kid. Those babies are the real deal!
Elliette and MeMe kept each other company during the present opening, of course.
My big surprise was a guitar! I have always wanted to play and now I guess there are no excuses!
It was a super fun day for us all!
