I'm so glad to finally be sharing our photos from our NYC trip. It was so crazy when we returned that I hadn't even gotten the pictures off my camera until tonight. Looking through them I am reminded what an awesome time we had. So here we go...
Day 1: We arrived around 2pm and met my parents who had driven (yes, driven!) there the day before.
After a bite we walked to see Times Square.
We stood to look at ourselves up on the big screen. Can you see us?
After that we met up with one of Dave's best friends who lives in NYC now and acts.
Danny took us up to Central Park to walk around.
After that it was a trip to the Top of the Rock. We went up 70 floors in less than one minute and enjoyed the spectacular 360 view of the city.
For those of you with height phobias it really was not uncomfortable at all. This is what the observation deck looked like.
And then the sun began to set on the city.
We briefly looked around Rockafeller Center but then headed to St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
This was all in about 8 hours! It was a great first day.
