We didn't realize that when it's hot in the Midwest that it is hot in Florida, also. I guess all of my summer beach travels have always been to Northern California where it is a beautiful 80 degrees during the day and a cool 55 degrees at night. Well that is NOT the case here! It's a scorching 90 degrees plus during the day and there is a lot of cement which makes it even hotter.
So what are we to do with a toddler when we can't go to the pool during the day?
That's right; all the way from the Midwest to Florida and we go to the freaking Bass Pro Shop!!!
But you know what? it was big and air conditioned and there were lots of things to look at so mission accomplished!
