We've all arrived safely!! Will did super great on our flights. Our morning flight was delayed- we sat on the runway an hour before being deboarded (I wondered if it was a sign I should just stay home?). Apparently they had closed our runway and we were moving to a shorter one. The company was doing the math to make sure that our plane would be able to get up in the shorter distance (eek!). I was freaking out and hoping everyone at "the company" had their morning coffee and passed math class! In that whole hour will played with whatever I handed him. I had gone to the dollar store and purchased some new toys for him so it was great.
We had a layover in Atlanta where we sat in front of a huge window to watch all of the luggage action and planes taking off. The boy was in heaven!
Seeing Dave when we landed was such a huge relief and we were able to get out of the airport quickly since Dave had taken all luggage earlier in the week and already had the rental car and car seat installed. Go Dave!
We're staying at Dave's cousin's condo which has several pools and lake with a "beach" all right in the neighborhood so that's what we did last night. This pool had a slow, gradual entrance (much like entering the ocean) so Will would walk in and then out over and over and over....
(*Not sure what setting we changed on our iPhones that these photos are turning out so small. They were not like this before-- help anyone?)
Then we walked on the lake beach as the sun was going down.
Pretty sure this is going to be a great vacation!

That tent on the beach looks AWESOME! So jealous. Glad your flight went well, despite all the delays!
