Performance (minus one)

 

Last week we were invited to Will’s classroom for a Christmas performance by the kids. He looked SUPER cute if I do say so myself!

As cute as Will looked, her refused to sing the songs. I knew he would not perform- he has JUST started singing a few songs at home (a late bloomer) and a lot of the time when he does sing he asks us to cover our eyes and not watch him. He sat on my lap the whole time and watched his class. Despite the fact my kid wasn’t singing Jingle Bells I still got teary watching his friends.

Despite the lack of performance we still enjoyed our afternoon and attending his class party. I still can’t believe I’m a parent sometimes and that my kid is even old enough to recite songs from memory. He is growing up too fast and apparently I’m aging as well  : )
