Day 13: Written Words

When we were pregnant with Will a few years ago Dave and I had a little magnetic writing board in our bathroom and we were forever writing notes back and forth about the baby we were about to have. We would write things like "week 24: this week our baby develops eyelashes" and "can't wait to hear our baby's heartbeat at our appointment today." It was a really sweet and memorable thing that just happened, we didn't plan it or discuss it. I had thought of those notes often and thought we should start that up again. Not related to Will (or a pregnancy!) but just simple, sweet love notes to each other. It is sometimes easy to get caught up with life and forget to tell your beloved the little things that make you love them. I made this dry erase board to hang in our bathroom and we have been leaving each other love notes in the mornings. I am GRATEFUL for the best husband a girl could ask for and that he a) indulges my Pinterest addiction and subsequent craft projects and that b) he is not too manly to share his feelings.
