This Halloween was SO much fun. It was pretty much the first holiday that Will GOT and now we really have a sense of watching something through our child’s eyes. I raced to pick up Will as soon as school was out and brought him home to change into his dinosaur costume (which he LOVES and was giggling about!)
We went to downtown Rogers and joined in the Goblin Parade where local businesses hand out candy to the kids. There were hundreds of kids there- no joke.
Will did awesome walking up to the vendors and saying “trick or treat” and “thank you.”
Lots of the vendors were dressed as well.
After the parade we went to Dave’s office to scope out the goods.
Our night ended at home where W handed out candy to the kids that came to our door. I swear he liked that part just as much as going himself. He put one piece in each kid’s bag as they came up. When they would walk away Dave would tell him to say “bye” to the trick-or-treaters and he would call out “bye tricker eaters!” Then he would assure us that there would be more coming. Ha!
I now know what our moms mean when they say holidays go too fast. It seemed like there was so much anticipation and build up and it was over in a blink. We LOVED watching our little man and the fun he had with Halloween!
