So... I know the Gratitude word of the day is "smile" and you see a picture of an ear. You're not confused, nor am I. As I was thinking about this challenge earlier today I was trying to think of the best smiles. Of course, Will comes to mind quickly, but I didn't want to go for the "easy." I began to think that I love the smiles of his grandparents. It has been wonderful to have all four of our parents to experience their first grandchild, and while we thought we knew them, there are all sorts of fun new things to show them and tell them as a parent myself. Will is even blessed enough to have four great-grandparents! While they don't get to see him as often as any of us would like, I know he can still bring them joy from across the miles.
So, for today's picture I chose an ear becuase I love to
hear them smile (usually on the phone) when I tell them a story about their grandchild or great-grandchild. I know how much happiness he brings to them and I love to be able to put the smile on their face. You know when you can hear a good smile. It just makes you feel good.
Smile. Ear. Day two, done.
